Jesus' call is for his followers to "go and make disciples of all nations" and to demonstrate God’s love and truth in our words and actions. Our youth program is dedicated to missions and serving those around us. We do this through local service opportunities, as well as going on mission trips throughout Texas, and raising money and awareness for needs around the world.
During the summer we have incredible mission trip opportunities for both our Junior High and Senior High School students. These mission trips are life-changing opportunities to experience God’s presence through community and serving others.
• Senior High School Students (entering 9th – 12th grade) we offer UM ARMY (United Methodist Reach-Out Missions by Youth).
• Junior High School Students (completed 6th grade - finishing 8th grade) we offer BASIC (Believing Affirming Serving in Christ).
SUMMER MISSION TRIPS
If you would be interested in going (both students and adults) on a summer mission trip, let Jordan Rodgers know!
If you would like to attend future trips, either as a student or an adult helper, please contact our Youth Director, Jordan Rodgers, for additional information. Methodist Youth Fellowship
Methodist Youth Fellowship (The Vault) is our staple, year-round youth program which normally meets in the Youth Room from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Sundays for 5th-12th graders, however we are currently not meeting through the month of July. Take a look at our online offerings and join us if you are able.
The schedule will be as follows:
5:00 Fun and Games
6:00 Bible Study split into age groups- 5th grade, Junior High, and High School.
Please don't hesitate to contact Jordan Rodgers with any questions.
We typically hold confirmation every other year for 6th grade students and older who are interested in growing deeper in their understanding and relationship with God. During confirmation class, confirmands learn about the meaning of Christian faith; the history and teachings and the United Methodist Church; and an explanation of the baptismal and membership vows they will be professing, should they choose to at the end of the confirmation process.
If you would be interested in teaching or participating in Confirmation in the future, please contact our Youth Director, Jordan Rodgers, to be a part of the class or for additional information.
