WUMC Family Ministries is an effort to synchronize church leaders and parents around a master plan to build faith and character in their sons and daughters. We believe in all families because we believe EVERY family matters to God.
We believe that every child is made in the image of God, and by treating them that way, they can learn to love God and trust Jesus. Our goal is to help ALL families grow an authentic and unshakeable faith. Our effort, week in and week out, is to partner with parents in raising their sons and daughters. We do this through awesome, fun, and engaging experiences every Sunday for infants to High School students, and have parent resources to help support the messages at home.
We are with you every step of the way!
WUMC is excited about using Orange! This curriculum is taught during our Sunday School hour, from 10:00-10:45am and at KidzChurch during our 11:00 service.
The fabulous curriculum that brings you VBS each summer is taught EVERY SUNDAY, from ages Infant - High School.
So, what is Orange?
Orange is Simple.
It's a Strategy.
It starts with 2 individual influences in a child's life:
the love of the Home (red) + the light of the Church (yellow)
Alone, these 2 work hard to ensure that every child has a better future.
But when they're COMBINED, the home and church will have a greater impact.
And that is....ORANGE.
