We believe church is more than Sunday worship—it’s about living life together. Our Small Groups are where real relationships form, faith deepens, and people find belonging. Whether you’re exploring Christianity for the first time, returning to church after some time away, or looking to grow in your lifelong walk with Christ, small groups offer a place to connect, learn, serve and be known. From Bible studies and prayer gatherings to fellowship groups like Choir and Women in Faith, there's a group for every interest, every schedule, and every stage of life.

Church Choir

Meets Sundays at 8:30am

Our Church Choir is a vibrant and dedicated group of singers who enhance our worship experience through the power of music. The choir provides beautiful and inspiring hymns, anthems, and contemporary pieces during our services. Whether it’s a Sunday morning or a special holiday service, our choir helps guide the congregation in song, creating an atmosphere of reverence and praise.

We welcome singers of all skill levels and invite anyone with a love for music and a desire to serve to join us in this meaningful ministry. Together, we sing to lift hearts, glorify God, and build a stronger sense of community.

Praise & Worship Team

Meets Sundays at 9:00am

Our Praise and Worship Team leads the congregation in heartfelt, Spirit-led worship that glorifies God and prepares hearts to receive His word. Through music, song, and creative expression, we seek to create an atmosphere where everyone can encounter the presence of God. Our goal is to lift up the name of Jesus and unite our church family in joyful worship.

Special Music Programs: Several times each year, WUMC produces special music services, like Christmas or Easter Cantatas or music Sundays in place of the regular worship service.

Prayer Ministry

Meets Thursdays at 10:30am

The congregation offers prayer shawls to any one who is ill, facing crisis, or celebrating an event in their lives. The shawls are knitted by congregation members and every stitch is sewn in prayer. The shawls are blessed during worship.

Requests for shawls can be given by calling the church office at 512-847-3109 or by contacting our Prayer Team.

WUMC also has an online prayer ministry. If you have a prayer request and would like others to join you in prayers of concern or celebration please contact our Prayer Team.

United Women in Faith (UWF)

Meets on the 2nd Wednesdays at 6:00pm

We’d love for you to join us in United Women in Faith! It’s a warm and welcoming group where women come together to grow spiritually, build friendships, and serve the community with love and purpose. Whether you’re new to the church or have been here for years, there’s a place for you. Come see what we’re about—you just might find exactly what your heart’s been looking for!

Divine Conversations - Coming Soon

Divine Conversations is a space for heartfelt dialogue about faith, life, and the ways God speaks to us in everyday moments. This group is designed to encourage meaningful connections with others who are seeking to grow in their walk with Christ. Each session centers around guided conversation, Scripture, and prayer—inviting the Holy Spirit to lead as we listen, share, and respond. Whether you're exploring how to hear God's voice or just looking for a space to talk openly about faith, Divine Conversations is a place where your story and your questions are welcome.
