Extended Advent Worship Experience

Every year, the holidays seem to fly by. This season we'll take time to pause and reflect – looking for God's surprises that come "out of the blue" and preparing our hearts for the hope of Christmas.

5th Sunday Brunch Church

November 30, 10 a.m.

Brunch Church is an interactive worship experience for all ages, centered around scripture, food, and song. Even though we call it Brunch Church, this one's a true potluck—if you bring something to share that's what we'll have to eat (that's part of the fun!).

1st Wednesday @ EmilyAnn!

December 3, 6-9 p.m.

Join us at the EmilyAnn Trail of Lights as we spread Christmas cheer, serving Hot Cocoa, snacking on S'mores, and singing Carols around the Yule Log.

Gingerbread Jingle Jam

December 7, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Free chili dinner and gingerbread house decorating — it's the sweetest night of the season and a favorite Wimberley family tradition you won't want to miss! Please RSVP to help us plan, but don't worry — everyone's welcome, even if you forget to RSVP!

Choir Cantata

December 14, 9:15 a.m. or 11:15 a.m.

Join us for a special combined worship at North Shore Canyon Lake UMC (23880 N. Cranes Mill Rd., Canyon Lake 78133) as the Wimberley and North Shore choirs join voices to present a beautiful Christmas Cantata celebrating the season through scripture, poetry, and song.

Candlelight Communion

Christmas Eve, 6 p.m.

Come, welcome Christ into the world and celebrate the hope, peace, joy, and love He brings into all our lives through scripture, song, communion and candlelight. Please bring a nonperishable food donation to support our neighbors in need.

 

Lessons & Carols

Come as you are — whether in PJs or your Sunday best — and join us for a morning of scripture, carols, and reflection as we celebrate the mystery of Christ's birth and the surprising ways God is still at work today.​​.
