Pumpkin Patch Volunteers
The Pumpkin Patch is open 11-7 pm for pumpkin sales starting Monday Oct 5th thru Oct 31st. All proceeds benefit Barnabas Connection, Bright Beginnings Preschool, Camp CommUnity summer scholarships, Wimberley UMC Family Ministries or the WUMC General Fund. (Volunteers designate where they want their volunteer hours to go)
Thank you to all those purchasing pumpkins, which help us give to various community nonprofits.
If you are interested in volunteering at the Pumpkin Patch, click here. We have plenty of 2-hour volunteer slots available from 11am to 7pm daily.
Most important shifts to cover: Weekdays from 3:--7 pm. and any shift on Saturday and Sunday. We use an honor system for the times when no volunteer is available.

Volunteer Tips and Info

Pumpkins can be paid for using the church's QR code (posted), cash, or check.

Cash bag for change, place cash and checks received there.

Larger pumpkins are sized and priced using tape measures from stem under around and back. Prices posted.

Other gourds' prices are shown in binder by photo of type.

Final shift of the day will turn cash bag over to Claire Dark and store all supplies in containers there.

What Else to Know
✔Welcome, volunteer to take photos, and to assist as needed.
✔There are some carts available so folks don't have to carry everything..
✔If Jesus (a small rubbery toy) is found, the winner receives the designated prize shown in the binder. When the coast is clear, hide Jesus again.
✔If we are using the spinner this year (not used every year), children can receive one item or a sticker. Stickers are available, whether they spin or not.
✔Invite those looking to connect to our services, to Susanna's Kitchen, Kidz Church, etc.
